In recent years I've seen a lot of pretty nasty stuff towards Brendan Rodgers.

I hope with the passage of time people might be a little more forgiving and treat him with a bit more respect as a former red.

Did he make mistakes? Absolutely. Did the job come too soon for him? I think so. But I believe his heart was in the right place, he gave it his all, and boy did he give us some ride in 'that' season.

Unfortunately, he never admitted his mistakes and thought he was a far better coach than he actually was.

His heart was in the right place, if his head was he would of won the league.

He's a spoofer!

Don't give him MONEY and he will work wonders within the limitations! If not him Sterling would have been a free agent!

He's a fantastic coach.

Look how pep is doing with sterling compared to what rog did.

He's an awful manager though. That was the whole downfall.

Same as Wenger. Brilliant coach, terrible manager. Both too pig headed to admit it.

Is rog had of just been the coach and left everyone else better suited to the management side, I'm fairly confident he would still be here.

There was no room for his heart when he let his backroom staff get sacked for following his PHILOSOPHY . which suddenly changed when he signed Bendeke.

As I said there was no room for his heart as the sun was shining out of his arse.

Well he was a decent coach.
He didn't solve the defensive conundrum with 3 years of coaching.

Klopp is a decent coach too Ron. And he has not solved the defensive conundrum either.

I know IB, but Klopp is a better manager.

This is a man who lied to the fans repeatedly, BS'd the owners to get the job, threw the league by bottling it and reverting back to type for the last 3 games in a season where he had 2 strikers who both surpassed 20 league goals without penalties, cheated on his wife with someone younger than his son, signed players and then left them out in the cold to rot before even giving them a chance, blamed the players when we lost and took the praise when we won, cost us our best academy graduate in years by chewing him out on a documentary trying to look like Paisley, and didn't win a single trophy or reach a final despite having the 3rd best player in world football for most of his tenure.

Brendan is a chancer who pulled the wool over peoples eyes, but eventually got badly found out. Scottish football is his level in terms of being a manager. A very good coach by all accounts, but not cut out for management. He is far too stubborn and self absorbed.
