If things where to end now and transfer window closed what does ed001 think about the player power. We have heard for months that player power always wins but this summer (if things ended as is) seems to be clubs holding the power. I. e. coutinho, vvd, mahrez etc? Is the tv money giving clubs more power to say no to players? And do you think it will continue?

{Ed001's Note - that depends on how they perform over the next few months. If they all sit and sulk on a beach in Brazil with Diego Costa, then clubs have achieved nothing other than a major accounting loss. If they play regularly and well, then player power is massively weakened.}

Where do You stand on player power ed, I understand clubs not wanting to keep players who actively seek pastures new and fein injury to force moves but if a player is an integral part of the team and could weaken your team and strengthen a rival and these players paid handsomely by the club then they should conduct themselves accordingly. But I know sod all relating to football business side of things and just want liverpool to do well so that just the way it is I suppose.

{Ed001's Note - it is difficult, there is a fine line between players having too much power and clubs having too much power. More of an issue for me is the power in the hands of intermediaries.}
