Just wanted to add a bit about Couts from my perspective (and probably a lot of other fans out there) .

He's been great for us and it always makes sad when such a good player leaves under a cloud. Ideally, if he's wish is to go, it would have been nice if he had still supported his team mates, club and fans by training and playing before moving as that way everyone can at least part on good terms and he would be applauded on returns to Anfield.

Sadly, bridges have been burned and no goodbyes with fans will now happen (if sold) .

I've no idea what has gone on behind the scenes from all parties but I think it's a shame.

Just a comment, not being naive, and I'm sure Saints fans and others feel the same way.

Looking forward to the rest of the season though although this transfer window is killing my phone battery with refresh after refresh to see if we've signed players lol.

Lastly, sincere thanks to the Eds. Everyone says it but without you guys life would be a lot less interesting. Your hard would and knowledge is appreciated.
