Reds and Eds, I am a little concerned.
I feel that we do not really need to sign Lemar and absolutely do not need the OX.

I would rather we make commitments to Can as he is developing in to a real force.

If we sign a decent centre half and then concentrate on Can extending, that would be the best outcome for me. Whether Couts goes or stays, I think Can is the most important signing.

What do you guys think?

Comparing Lemar to Can is like comparing David Silva to Fernandinho! What is happening to the most knowledgable fans these days, I wonder 🙄.

Sorry I think I have not communicated properly. I do not compare Lemar to Can, it is more my thought that we do not need to prioritise Lemar or the Ox. I personally feel we have enough across midfield (especially with Keita next year and youngsters coming through) . As such, I would prefer we focus on a defender and getting Can to commit to a new contract. If that happened I would say the window had been a very successful window.

I think signing Lemar, VVD and keeping Can are priorities. Forget buying AOC and that would suit me, having signed Solanke, Robertson, Salah and Kieta (coming next year I know) that would be good business - even with the departure of Coutinho.
I am concerned we did not accept the £25mil for Sakho - let him go and restart his career. Would like to see the players that don't fit as such move on.
