So the OX is turning down a move to Chelsea because of the role he would be playing (Wing Back) and prefers a move to Liverpool.

Do we really need a player dictating the role they will play before moving. Whilst I actually rate him and think he would add some depth to the squad surely he would be played out wide more than centrally for us.

Do we think this is deal will be done eds? Or is it a back up option if the Lemar deal doesn't come off?

He won't be playing in CM or starting out wide with Mane and Salah being fit, that much is clear. He is being brought in for depth and utility purposes.

I disagree ed001, I think if we fail to get lemar, we get ox, they can both play centrally and out wide!

{Ed001's Note - I don't think you understand, if we get Lemar we might still go for Ox. It is not a related move, it was just put on the backburner as Chelsea had agreed a fee and we weren't getting involved in a bidding war when we had more important targets to get.}
