Hi Eds, sorry to ask another question about Van Dijk but considering the business we've done with Southampton in the past couple of years why did it turn into such a mess?
We've signed Clyne, Lovren, Lallana etc. Surely we had a good relationship with them?
Apologies if you've already answered this and double apologies if you decide not to answer.

So the club thinks just because we have bullied them in the past and it didn't matter then we can continue to bully them.
I hope that some real lessons have been learned this year regarding transfers, although as it still seems likely we will still buy VVD and Keita is signing The club might just think "oh well, we got what we wanted, business as usual"
