Ed am I right in thinking that Lemar is an alternative to AOC who looks set to join Chelsea, or could he arrive with us along with Lemar?

{Ed001's Note - not so much an alternative as a change of direction due to changing circumstances.}

Ed001 is the change of circumstances pipco going?

{Ed001's Note - yes. It seems Klopp has tired of him and decided to let him go. Klopp's decision, the club have stood behind Klopp and would have rejected any offer unless he gave the word. He now wants to replace and get rid.}

Oooohhhhhh ed01, the way I read that is that we have decided to sell couts.
Is that the change in direction?

{Ed001's Note - yes, Klopp now wants to replace him and get rid of him.}

Changing circumstances being the same of coutinho?

Thanks Ed001, appreciate this and I actually think it's good news.

Graeme Kelly alluded to Pipco having done a lot worse than we know about which appears true if Klopp has changed his mind on trying to keep him. Any ideas what he might be talking about? Seems something has massively annoyed Klopp (apart from pipco training for Brazil of course! )

{Ed001's Note - he has just been an arse.}

Coutinho really hasn't covered himself in glory, has he ed001?

{Ed001's Note - not in the slightest. Get rid.}

Ed I assume we will only let Couts go once Lemar is over the line though?

{Ed001's Note - no idea.}

Geez Ed, ever get tired of answering the same question?
I said a week or so ago that I'd still support Phil if he accepted he was staying and got his head sorted and put effort in. A real shame to see him train with Brazil, had hoped the club and the city meant more to him, though I'm sure I'm looking at it too simply and there is plenty more to this than I'm aware.
Will be more disappointed than sad now to see him leave. Are Barcelona still interested after signing Dembele?

{Ed001's Note - yes.}

It's a real effing shame for Coutinho to leave the club on these terms. I've always accepted he was going to leave eventually in the short to medium term, but why be such an arse about it? Is there actually this secret Mr. Hyde side to his personality that's only surfacing now? Or is he just too easily led around by other people ed?

{Ed001's Note - it is all him mate, he is desperate to play for Barca.}

ed 001 your tone on coutinho sound very harsh today? has he done something really awful? as i understand his arse behaviour referring to his playing for brazil but not liverpool which is clearly disrespecting the club.

{Ed001's Note - it is not the only thing he has done, but it is best to just say we will be better off without him.}

If that's the case, then get rid. I do not want one prima donna's low class attitude creeping through the entire squad.
Really disappointed with Coutinho. I thought he was better than this.

It's a strange one, why move now we look to actually be on the cusp of competing? Only to go to a club that'll be in a rebuild, and by the time they're actually ready to compete again Messi and Suarez will be geriatrics. He certainly won't get the appreciation or adulation he'd receive here.

It seems the Lemar interest has spawned from Liverpool suddenly deciding to sell Coutinho, and believing that they now need someone better than AOC if Coutinho is off.

Get as much as possible for Pipco then get in Lemar abc van Dijk.

It Is enough. I mean his playing for Brazil and not the club.

This isn't a shock, it's been on the cards for ages. The best thing the club can do is rinse Barcelona for as much money as possible and bring in Lemar who is an exceptionally talented young player and complete a deal for van Dijk.

Well Ed as you know, I have been a firm supporter of the club not selling Cou. However with the info you have just provided an with how Cou has conducted himself (the fact that you are holding back on other things he has done is telling) and the fact that Klopp is fed up and has told the owners he wants rid, then I have to accept that he is now and will be a cancer in team, he should be let go and follow his dream. All I would say to him is good luck and God's speed.

Thing is for us too progress as a club we can't have a bad egg in the squad, an he gone too embarrassing levels too get away, let's jus get rid replace onwards an upwards, we are a club that players come too an develop into world class talent we seen it all before he ain't first an won't b last.

The thing is we haven't replaced him yet. It would weaken our squad if we sell now. He is training with Brazil, but on his own. He is not in full training and no 'contact' stuff yet. This would hint that he is still not fully ready to play.

Let's see if he actually gets picked.

I am not ITK about what he has been doing, but unless we get an equivalent talent in, he has to stay.
