Great read ed001. And spot on about Moreno well done to the lad. Never threw his toys out of the pram.

{Ed001's Note - cheers.}

Great review Ed1. I'm glad you mentioned the focus by the media of arsenal being poor rather than lfc being unstoppable. We deserved more credit than we got yesterday. I watched the game and then watched the highlights on motd later and was disappointed to see 95% of the punditry following the highlights focused on arsenal's deficiencies.
The first 10 mins of the game was tight and as you intimate against most teams arsenal would have done far better. We're just too good at the moment and they couldn't cope.
For me Gini, Bobby, Can, Mane and Salah incredible and Gomez pick of the backline.
If Can can maintain this form would you have him over Coutinho?
If the team maintains this form do you think Can stays?
Final point, not heard Joey Barton explaining in his grating tone how rubbish Klopp is this weekend. How is he a pundit?

{Ed001's Note - right now I wouldn't change any of the midfield or attack. Can over Coutinho? I don't know, totally different players, I would prefer to keep both.

Barton is just a moron, he should be in an institution or jail where he belongs.}

"IT meant they were going to be exposed badly and Liverpool were going to get chances, however Liverpool have to be good enough to take those chances. Unlike Danny Welbeck, the Liverpool strikers are actually able to kick the ball in the general direction they are aiming it in, which helps. "

Classic :) :P, loved it ed001. I wish for more days like this. i also wished there was no international break and we carried this performance to mancity. Oh Guardiola like Arsene did yesterday would have learnt a lesson in attacking football.

{Ed001's Note - yeah the international break has come at a bad time.}

Cheers Ed, I didn't get chance to watch it so nice to have a comprehensive review of the action - have seen highlights since but, from what you say, it sounds like we destroyed them. Good stuff from the team, hope they can continue it.

{Ed001's Note - we really did destroy them mate, it was an excellent performance.}

Ed01 srry for being a negative idiot but we should hav scored a lot more than 4!hendo and salah missed so many chances! and i think salah is a poor finisher than mane! he should hav got a hat trick even if he had missed the chance he scored! sorry but i just want salah to improve his finishing. his finishing is not on par with manes.

{Ed001's Note - seriously? I think you summed it up with your first sentence to be honest.}

Ed001, isn't it great that we have competition for places at RB and LB! Could not be happier with RB right now. Gomez and TAA are both showing that they will indeed take there chances. Unlike Clyne who has had years to improve and is no ultimately third choice RB surely?

{Ed001's Note - much better now. Clyne will be lucky to get a game.}

I'd take 4-0 over 8-3. What has also improved is our game management. Rather than running wrecklessly forward and risk conceding we are closing out games properly.

Brilliant review Ed001! Thanks for the time and effort you put in!

I do have one questions though - Klopp has said that Migs will return to the side against Man City. Do you think that's very harsh on Karius, who has just been part of a side that comfortably kept a clean sheet against one of our top 6 rivals so to speak? I think he deserves to retain his place and be given a chance! Your thoughts Ed?

{Ed001's Note - a big mistake. Migs should never be in the side, he is just not good enough.}

That's a very good read. The assessment of the players was absolutely spot on. The matip assessment was class I never even noticed what u wrote about him👍👍.

{Ed001's Note - thank you.}

Agree that Salah needs to work on his finishing tbh, but the fact is that any other player in his position wouldn't get nearly as many opportunities to take a shot due to the rest of his game (pace, vision, timing, work rate etc) making his finishing a non issue.

Cracking read Eds. Couldn't disagree with any of it. A very well written and articulate review. A* top of the class 😉.

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate.}

Salah and Mane are brilliant for our defence just like Sterling and Suarez were. Teams will not want to attack us as much as Arsenal did yesterday because with Mane and Salah they have to stay back.
Repeat of 2013/ 14 this season 😎.

{Ed025's Note - where you won nothing mate...so probably.. :)

I find it hard to criticise Salah. He scored one, assisted one and generally scared the crap out of their back four.

As always good read Ed; thanks.

While Karius did dither on the ball with his kicking he was far more commanding coming out of crosses / corners.

Moreno had one of his best games yesterday; that being said I hate seeing him furthest man forward sometimes.

Interesting few days coming up.

{Ed001's Note - cheers Hoola.}

I agree Dennis i think he's a great signing and its hard to fault his performances so far, but i understand where people are coming from when the reference his finishing

As i said though its not an issue at all given that he more than makes up for it with everything else he does.
