Just wanted to add to everyone's glowing reports from todays match. in particular though i wanted to praise Henderson who not many people are mentioning.

When he plays we look so much better and having him and can is a solid combo in the middle of the park. Henderson's work rate was great and he moves play around well and can put in a great shift with some solid tackles and some lovely through balls.
Gomez i thought was excellent too.
Karius i still have concerns over. many have been saying for a while now to drop migs and play him, but for me he scares me everytime he has played. looks almost immature!
But, great game and even Moreno was good, so that's something to behold.

Are u serious about Hendo. Is that quality you happy with. Not arguing about his work rate of the ball. With it is not nearly as the good as what we need in that position. We need a more technivally skilled player there. He may better further up the pitch but deffinately not as a DM.

Gareth, Karius had next to nothing to do, all game bar two crosses he gobbled up in the box with authority. He may have been a bit too relaxed trying to play the ball out of the back twice BUT The kid made no mistakes and kept a clean sheet. So how was he shaky, exactly?

Twice he had the ball at his feet with plenty of time and it ended in a 50/ 50 tackle! Are you kidding me! If that's reliable then fine, but for me when there is no need for danger, why invite it? I pretty sure there was even a third event when he tried to take on a player and almost ended badly.

Riedwaan, no i am not kidding. When he plays we look a lot better and most the time this is the case. You want gifted technical players, but that's part of the game only and if we had 11 coutinho we would be thrashed every game imo. What he does he does very well, and does not get the credit he deserves at all. Lucas never did either, perhaps because he wasnt the most technical either?

Crazy imo.

Gareth, I did watch the game and you are simply knit-picking for no reason. Karius tried to play out of the back which is what they are told to do. He may have been a bit too confident BUT he did will with the crosses that came into the box and was decisive overall, the things Migs is poor at. I don't need to knit-pick to find Mingo's errors. They are there in plain sight. Migs is a failure and the facts prove that. Karius should be given the chance now to make the position his own and should be backed instead of being slated for kicking the ball into touch, something Migs does all the time BUT his apologists stay silent.

I do not disagree that MIgs makes too many mistakes and i wish we had a top rate keeper. But for me, and i do not take part in bashing players at all, but its not the fact Karius almost gave away goals from silly mistakes, its that he doesn't even look bothered about it.
Those two 50/ 50s he had were not necessary. it was not like the player was close when he got the ball.
