Gutted for Andy Robertson today. The guy looked sharp and dangerous against Palace. He put in a good few dangerous crosses. Unless he's injured or not quite fully fit yet he must wonder what he needs to do to keep Moreno out, someone who hardly started last year 😏.

Even if Robertson isn't the best defender at least he can cross a ball and not just run around like a headless chicken for 90 minutes.

Ed001's only explained the situation a dozen or so times.

His pre-season was a virtual write off because Hull, who were a little behind us anyway, removed him from first team training and friendlies as soon as it became apparent he was going to leave. So he only had two 45 minute run outs with us prior to starting against Palace.

As a result he's not match fit.

Thanks guys and Ed1, that explains it then. I hadn't realised quite how behind he was in terms of fitness. But as I'm a little older and certainly don't have twitter, I'm reminded of Roy Keane's comment when one of the Irish lads (Robbie Keane, I think it was) was asking to miss a match on paternity leave. "It's his wife having the baby though, right? He's not having the baby! " 😂👍🏻👍🏻.
