Is there a benefit till waiting till deadline day.
Always a lot of business done in deadline day and wondered if it drives prices up or down etc.
If a player is sold on deadline day surly he had a prices earlier in the window.

{Ed002's Note - I don';t really understand the question Lee. Clubs would prefer just to get the players out who are going to leave and bring in the players they want as early as possible in order to get them settled.}

I don't see any benefit til waiting until the end of the window, prices go up, teams are less likely to want to sell and it's just disruptive.

Deadline day benefits the selling teams. They get a she*p we only have a few hours, bid excessively we need this to go through" offer from the buying team.

I think depends on the players situation.

Barkley as an example is in the last 12 months of his contract (I think Spurs would like him? ) . Everton want 40/ 50mil which Levy won't pay. Come deadline day, do Everton open negotiations around a much reasonable price or lose him for free next summer?
