Apologies if another fan on this site has said it.

Alex OC can be a good addition in the centre of midfield for our style of play. He's had experience defensively and has that attacking threat in his locker.

Given our full backs do get quite far forward, he would provide good cover.

Lets always think of the positive guys!

Experience defensively? Have you even watched him play in centre midfield? He's appalling in that position. He got torn a new butt hole by both Bayern Munich and France when played there, the reason? Because he lacks the ability and intelligence to play there.

Mr Dennis, I can't disagree more with your posts. Yes Ox was inferior to Munich midfield and France midfield but his many games in a row has he played his favoured position and u cannot judge him on playing under Southgate or Wenger in that postion. He will flourish at Liverpool if he can stay fit and give us an added dimension.

Ur talking about top top sides in Munich and France . Given time to develop (he is still young) that can change. Now stop the doom and gloom.

Irrelevant. The point being that when he played in a central position as one of a central three, he looked completely out of his depth. Hasn't the intelligence or skill to play there. We are weak enough through the middle without adding a complete liability to the starting 11.

With a base of can and hendo he would be gown the freedom to make things happen. your judging him on. Couple of games. Narrow minded springs to mind.
