A great Ed01. Just like you and some in here, I'm a big fan of Henderson.

Just wanna ask some clarification from you Ed01;

"This will improve under Rodgers' training set up especially since I expect to see so many triangles this season" - you meant Klopp's training set up, maybe some error typing, right? I couldn't get much after reading it few times. Maybe it was just because of my English.

{Ed001's Note - that is a mistake in the profiles layout I have asked Ed033 to sort out. Rather than just get rid of old profiles that have been done in the past, we wanted to add them on the end of the new ones, so people can see different perspectives on players through their careers. However there should be a clear break between them and also the author of each one should be credited at the end of his particular bit. My one ended with the paragraph about his running style being natural.

Great read and analysis, got very confused for a moment though was this written under the Rogers rein?

If so his long passing (although we don’t see it much) has been amazing since IMO, when he does launch it up to a player out wide it reminds me of the way Gerrard used to do it for us switching play. it’s a shame he probably isn’t given the freedom to do so anymore : (
Even now he still should be a B2B CM or AM though he is being wasted playing deep.

Thanks for clearing that up ed1 mate, reading it again I can see where some of the different reviews end and start and it is a little less confusing 😃 hopefully ed033 can sort it asap and put the respective credits in for each section :)

Fair enough yeah hopefully whoever write it sees it and pipes up so they can be credited.

The last one was a good few years ago so it was probably due an update anyway as his game has been changed quite a lot from being thrown forward and also out wide on occasion to now playing quite deep and not seemingly having the freedom he used to have.

That was the point of keeping the old ones and just adding new ones on top. Then people can see how someone's game has changed over the years.}

I searched on here but it only went back to January 2013 and phil_LFC mentioned it being from 2012. But if it’s in the database still then all good.

Hi Ed do you think given Can and Hendo are quite similar but arguably that Hendo is more agile in the high press, it's worth giving Can a run deeper and Hendo back in the box to box role? Can looks to be developing into a great player but not sure about him further forward.

{Ed001's Note - yes, I prefer Can sitting as he is bigger and stronger but lacks Henderson's pace on the counter.}
