Hi Eds,

I wanted to ask about the situation with origi?
It appears he is now our 4th choice striker which I can't imagine he is happy with. With Ings on his way back as well he could soon be battling with him just for a spot on the bench!
With it being a World Cup year is it possible to see him make a move before the window closes? Or would this be a more likely scenario to occur in January.

Thanks for your time.

{Ed001's Note - it is possible but unlikely he will go out on loan. January is more likely, Ings is likely to need at least 6 months before he is anything like ready to return.}

United dominated with 4 strikers.

If we get through to the group stages of the CL, there will be a lot of football to play.

I personally wouldn't send original put on loan, unless another game in.

Just my opinion.

Thanks Ed.
That's what I suspected, I think this season will be his last. The talent is there but he's never shown it consistently.

To be fair, United played with 2 strikers. If you do that, you need 4. We rarely even play 1!

Origi will be the solution off the bench when teams are open against us and he can run behind them. Solanke will be used when teams are playing deep. Just the way I see it. Room for both of them.

They did MK but the back up was there if there were any injurys.

No idea what I was writing, predictive text!

Agree No Fin - Origi dangerous when sides leave space for him to run into but Solanke looks to have the better link play and more dangerous in the air, so probably best when sides are sitting deep. I can see Robertson and Solanke feeding off each other given time, Robertson put some killer balls into the box yesterday that were dying for a traditional CF.

The squad will suffer surefire injuries as the season progresses. We will need all the players on our payroll at some point and Origi could prove a valuable squad player.
