The future is looking bright with our TAA and Robertson options. We have all seen TAA pre season and against Watford/ Hoffenheim.
Robertson was great yesterday. His passing, awareness, one twos and overall his crossing were superb. Where the difference between his £8m and Kyle Walkers £50m is I will never know.
Yes, Robertson needs testing defensively, and will get that against Arsenal, but he looked great yesterday.
Strikers will gobble up those crosses.
Does make me wonder whether we should be looking at the 3CB system to allow TAA and Robertson to push up. They offer such good width. I winder if that is why Klopp is so determined to get a ball playing CB.

I think There will be times we may go three at the back. Gomez Matip and Vvd for me, if Maccas right and we end up signing him.
If we want to use our full backs for the width they need to have an end product. Robertson and Arnold are both really good at delivery with there crosses, so we have cheaply addressed one of our failures of last season.
The team need to defend better Andy. Klopp is right what he says other players need to take defensive responsibilty When our fullbacks are up the park, just like Milner did yesterday.
I love the way we play, it is so much better to watch than the we stop the opposition playing and wait fo mistakes tactics, that other certain managers employ.

We lack the depth to play 3 CBs, unless Shako is considered even after a new CB comes in?

We just need a vocal defender. Someone like a Carragher, or Terry. Not neccesarily someone who is the best defender in the world, but someone who can organise the defense. You would be surprised how much that would help both our defense and our keeper.
Thats why zonal worked better under Rafa, he had a leader in Carragher to male sure everyone was doing their job.

Scott Dann? Could do a job for us, is a LFC fan and would be a sound stop gap till Gomez is ready to step up. In fact, I'd like to see both VVD and Dann sign.

Actually, Carragher and Terry were also very good defenders and good footballers.

Mr Dennis I didn't mean they weren't, they were both extremely good. I just meant that we wouldn't have to find someone on that level, just someone is good but vocal and has a good understanding.
