I want to urge some caution for Robertson. He was excellent today, but we knew he was a decent attacking full back. I'm not sure any left back would look too bad after the way palace played. No attacking presence from them until we went up.

Regardless, hope his good performances continue. If nothing else, he can at least put a good cross into the box.

He's a very consistent player hence the interest in him over the summer, name a player available right now and better than him who would jump at a chance to move to LFC, might take a while.

Give the lad a chance, mate. His home debut was extremely good (I've not seen crosses put in like that from a FB for a while) .
It's not his fault that we've completely f? @::ed up this transfer-window. By now we should have sorted out our entire defence (it's a talking-point every week on Football Focus, MOTD etc. just how crap our defending is and this is not a recent phenomenon)!
Robertson is a steal at £10m but was he the best or entire solution?
Is the Coutinho saga or the Virgil Van Dyke debacle or the Naby Keita pantomime doing us any favours?

Based on the comments when we signed him there's a whole bunch of Liverpool 'fans' gutted that they he hasn't given them a stick to beat him with after one game. I'm sure they awaiting eagerly for the next game to put him down.

Definitely swish, the' retreated back to their caves now but they'll be back out patting each other's backs and whinging about FSG the first time he misplaces a pass or forgets to leave a tip in the local greasy spoon.

Yep totally ridiculous. The top comment on the club's facebook post following the palace game is a "fan" saying Klopp out, disgraceful performance etc.
