Hi eds,

If I understand correctly club went with Marco gruijic instead of dele Alli.

Although of similar age and abilities, he did not make much progress compared to Alli

Is it because, we don't want him as attckng mid as we have enough options there.

Last few games we saw him playing as cm.

Whenever he played as attacking mid, he always looked likely to score this was the case with last two years preseasons.

He was injured for most of last season.

Every time I have seen him play I have liked him alot. Players seem to find it hard to play against him possibly because he is so tall and has a huge reach with his legs. He strikes a ball as well as anyone.

I have hopes that both him and Solanke will get a good run of games this season.

i think grujic was bought after klopp came in. Alli had already been at spurs for a few years if i'm not mistaken.

i think we bought Can in the summer Ali went to spurs. I don't know whether it was a choice or we would have taken both.
