If we sell coutinho what kind of message does that send? We shouldn't be selling our best players and replacing them with over priced but under average players. We want to be fighting for the Premier league and be back where we belong up there with the world's elite playing in the best competitions, we aren't going to get back there if we keep selling our best players.

Or No Fin Way, it shows that we will not be bullied by a player, his agent or a -has-been club desperate to stop the bleeding. Forget the "if he's not happy, sell him" crap as we are not in a position to do that now cos we don't need the money and he is an important player for us. That is now a myth cos you play to Barca's hands. Cou signed an extension with a raise and prolly a signing bonus and now he wants to leave 5 months later? Worse, FSG has stepped in and trust me, American owners will not tolerate being stood up to by a player who's wages they are paying. That is a battle the player will lose all the time.
