Its just come out (apparently) Pipco doesn't to play for LFC again.
Fair enough on the guy. His right to do what he wants. So why are we not accepting these bids?
Its causing more harm than good him still being here.
Are we really not going to sell him or are we just waiting?
Its disrupting the team keeping him here.

It's his right to go on strike, whilst earning over 150k a week, with a long contract? .

I'm not bothered if he stays or goes, no player is bigger than the club. But saying it's his right to down tools is pure stupid.

I think whoever is giving the yes or no has a price set in their mind and when or if its met then he will be sold. The window may close on the 31st but the bank doesn't so they will still be able to deposit their big fat cheque if it goes down to the last minute.

We're not accepting these bids because they're not good enough. There's 2 weeks left in the window, and any club we try to buy from is going to know we're flush with cash from PipCo's sale. Those two things will almost certainly mean overpaying for a replacement for him, or indeed any other player in any position we try to buy after selling him.

Therefore, the club aren't going to accept a bid for him unless it's sufficiently ludicrous that we can basically afford to overpay for other club's players. If Barcelona only offered £20m for him, should we let him leave because it'd be too disruptive to keep him?

And as for things being reported in the media, let's not forget that the media have reported at least two different dates for him to revealed as a Barcelona player, which have both passed.

I suppose like any transfer a fee will only be accepted, once the selling club finds a fee acceptable.

I put a business argument in a post several weeks ago about why couts would not be sold.

I'm not ITK but it seems FSG - the billionaires - do know what they are doing after all heh!

I said it before and I stand by it - couts will be here 1st sept unless Keita signs (which is unlikely! )

Why would we sell him for cheap?
90mil (rst is add-on) is 40% of what they got from Neymars sale.
I don't understand fans like you.
Its no way disrupting the team.

Why accept a bid that is unacceptable?

Why accept a bid at all if he is not for sale?
