Great to finally see us sticking to our guns and not being bullied. I genuinely think Barcelona are on a slippery slope. They let neymar go, suarez now out, and they looked plain awful the other night against madrid. Coutinho has to be very careful here. Its obvious what he wants, but if the window shuts and he is still at liverpool, he better change his attitude or his world cup place could be in jeopardy. He has only really cemented himself in the national side in the past 18months, so a poor season, could see him miss out.

Well considering how bad our summer has gone in terms of transfers I wouldn't say selling coutinho benefits us. If we where to bring in VVD and Keita then yes, I might agree with that especially on the business side of things but if we where to sell coutinho and just continue the way we are, that wouldn't benefit us at all. Why should all these other clubs take that no nonsense stance with us but we should just bend over as soon as a huge bid comes in. We need to act like a big club to actually be considered one.

Why do. I get the feeling Lp is waiting on other targets signing before making it public whether they wil accept or not. Not to drive prices up for targets not agreed with yet.
