So watched the Man Utd game against West Ham and can definitely conclude that Jose will get them challenging for the title. Their attack was sublime, powerful, pacy and unforgiving. On top of that, they have one of the best defences in the league.
The BPL trophy imo will go to Manchester one way or the other.

Nevertheless the trophy ends up in Manchester one way or the other. I sense unrest and an eventual implosion between Conte and the Chelsea board and their season will derail at some point considering they have a squad as threadbare as ours. Spurs have a brilliant first 11 but lack depth and they may have to sacrifice other competitions to make top4 this season. Arsenal will depend on Sanchez to stay and play a blinder to ensure a return to UCL football.
LFC on the other hand have a lot of work to do in the transfer market to keep pace with the rest bar Everton. Our defense is shocking and even one injury to one of our midfielders and attackers will expose the lack of depth and quality in the squad. Go help the club if anything happens to firmino, Mane or Salah coz then its back to kids like Origi and Solanke leading our line.

When you get too spend £200mil a summer you should be expected to win the league and other trophies.

Man city for me though due to the depth of the squad.

Didn't see their defence do that much, partly cos the hammers couldn't pass to a team mate to save their lives and mainly because MU midfield and forwards squeezed the life out if them, and scared them witless when they lost the ball.

Aren't we supposed to have 200 mill to spend this summer. What with the supposed propaganda of VVD 60-70 mill and the unnamed lad from Germany for 80 mill. We're good at tapping players up and leaking our interests to the press but when it comes to actually signing them our backbone appears to fall out.

Thought ManU were very good. We would be dreaming of a treble if we started the season off with a 4-0 victory. I picked manU for second, but they will be very close to the title imo.
