Everybody losing their lives over conceding 3 goals to Watford. Hate to point out the painfully obvious, but with the same defensve unit as last year, minus the 2 first choice full backs from last year, who conceded multiple goals like this all of last year, who expected anything different?
Not even trying to bash our players either. Have all of you in meltdown really forgot the type of goals we were conceding just 4/ 5 months ago?

It's the first game of the season. The "great leveller".
Man City with all their mega-million forwards struggled to break down Brighton. Palace lose 0-3 to Huddersfield and the champions lose at home to Burnley.
It's great to get off to a winning start, but it's not the end of the world to get an away point.

We weren't ready for that game, we started stale. Before we knew it we were 1-0 down and confidence rocked. We got back into it and we immediately switched off again - confidence rocked again. We woke up after half time and played much better. Poor finishing cost us ultimately.

I'd put Ward in goal. He deserves his chance. Migs has had dozens of chances, Karius is struggling. Other than that we just need to prepare better.

completely missing the point. knowing what happened 4/ 5 months ago, improvements should have been made yet they weren't.

Back, people are in meltdown BECAUSE they have not forgotten, we are sick of same old, and cannot believe the problem are not rectified by a so-called too manager,

Appreciate it's first game etc and Admire your positivity Ron, it's a welcome change here but are even you starting to doubt Klopp at all. You say we weren't ready today whose fault is that ultimately. Also if he isn't going to buy better defenders does he need to tweak his tactics slightly maybe playing 2 deeper in midfield at times or asking the fullbacks to not push on so much so that we don't expose the CB's as much. Also need to sort out set pieces attacking as well as defending, it's all a bit Groundhog Day.

Centre backs should've been signed.

Spot on Ron can't argue with any of that. I feel our defensive problems start with the goalkeeper. If your a centre back playing in front of a goalkeeper you don't fully trust then you are always on edge. Confidence at the back starts from the goalkeeper. Not saying that the rest of the back 4 are blameless because they are far from it. Even VVD would do well to make us look good. IMO migs nor Karius are good enough so let's give ward a shot. He looks big strong and commanding pretty much everything the other two lack. Apart from that, 1 result doesn't make or break a season and the front 3 on their day will cause any defence problems. So both positives and negatives to take from today.

I'm not losing faith in this team or the manager.
He will work it out.

Based on what Ron?! I really want to believe that there will be improvements, but I see absolutely no improvements since Klopp was appointed. I'm not suggesting that he should be replaced, but for heaven's sake where is the improvement? where is the improvement and leadership in the back? Pray tell.

There's plenty of improvement if you look at where Rodgers had us prior to leaving.
The improvement is not at the back, the improvement has been in attack. We were disorganised and clueless under Rodgers, now we're just disorganised.

I really do lay a lot of the blame on Migs today for the first and last goals. He should never have been beaten at the near post for the last and he should have come for that corner with the first.

Moreno and Migs should never play for us again, they are unreliable and make other players play worse.
