So after today's same old defensive frailties are exposed again, say we do again bid for VVD and get him and we are still leaking goals who is going to be the scapegoat then?

The goals are leaked due to a lack of leadership/ organisation which is why we should be signing a player like Gibson, and not Van Dijk. It is also very much Klopps fault. He perhaps needs to spend less time doing fitness training, and more time on set piece drills.

It is early days though. No need to lose our heads; yet.

If these issues at the back were in their infancy, I'd be inclined to agree with you but this has been going on since the BR era and it's still as bad.

Great post my scouser your spot on with every thing you have said I'm gobsmacked everyone can see were we need to strengthen except klopp and his management team he may need new glasses lol I love klopp but we are so far behind other clubs with transfers and we or go on about vvd even Jamie redknapp mentioned vvd but don't everyone no we ballsed that up didn't we.

IMO, Klopp needs to swallow his pride and get Sakho back to the team. That isn't going to happen though.

Buy Gibson and VVD. Our CBs don't cut it. Matip is the best of an average bunch.

Sakho is / was our steadiest defender and maybe we should have had a punt on Joe Hart. Hoffenheim's a squeaky bum game now.
