side note ed002 - you the legend, your analysis on klopp or anyone has been always so spot on. I don't think he has a clue. please tell us LFC will sign defenders :)

Ed002 did get it right about Klopp. Barely into his 3rd season and the man already has aged 10 years and has no clue how to win titles. The defense is as bad as the one Brendan left behind. Why exactly was Klopp given the job in the first place?
Are people really deluded enough to think he was solely responsible for BVB's short lived success?

Akshit to me, it is not about defenders as we have spent near 200m on CB's and still no solution. I don't know what we can do anymore cos VVD for me, will not fix this issue until the right setup is found defensively. Carra is right. It does not matter who you have back there, if you have a set up where opposing players have the freedom of the globe to score goals unchallenged. That is the issue. Why is Firmino in the heart of the defence? Against Okaka coming from deep, that is a mismatch. This is what I am talking about. It is the set up and VVD will NOT help with that if the setup does not change.

We don't have leaders back there period. Look at Spiurs. Their defender are just not very good. They are leaders and are accountable and everyone knows their jobs. Poch was an uncompromising CB in his time and he has instilled it into his players. We need leaders and a new setup cos whatever we are doing is STILL not working.
