Personally I would let Coutinho leave, why keep a player who does not want to stay at the club. We saw what happened with Torres.

If you were headhunted at your current place of work to go somewhere else and you weren't allowed to go you'd be pi**ed off too.

We can't moan about Southampton and RB not letting VVD and Keita leave and then expect LFC to keep hold of Coutinho. For me i'd be more worried if Mane left at the moment.

At the end of the day, the die is now cast that he's leaving. The only thing to do now is to demand as much money as possible from Barcelona and as close to £150m is a fair price.

We sold torres when he was past his sell by date. Coutinhos just beginning to flourish into something special. I don't think hell ever be as good as one of the greatest midfielders and players to ever play the game in iniesta but in world football today? You'll have a hard time finding a better player to attempt to lace iniestas boots than coutinho. He's much needed got Barcelona and I hope if he goes he becomes a magnificent player.

What good is us fans saying sell him but make sure and get x amount for him? We won't see a penny of it and it's clear that lfc have plenty of money as it is and can't get the players they want.

What good is that extra money if the team goes backwards this season.

I would rather have an unhappy coutinho for 1 or 2 months than no coutinho and poor replacements. He will have to get his act together as its a world cup year and there is no one we can replace him with. This is a purely selfish point of view but its still the better option imo to get a full season more with him and 12 months to recruit world class replacement.

i do not blame him for wanting to go, its the timing of the request. Barcelona have got £200m to spend and struggling to find netmar replacement. If we sell we have got to get a replacement before he's sold.

We have to keep him, why fans keep saying I'd try get as much money as possible is nonense, Coutinho is IRREPLACEABLE at this moment in time end of, more money doesn't go into our pockets so what's your thinking behind that when we won't be able to bring in a suitable replacement for x amount of money in this short space of time. Coutinho will be unhappy for sure but he's got the right mentality to play to what he's capable of in a Liverpool shirt again no doubt, selling him reiterates our ambitions to not make it to the top again but it seems some fans are happy with mediocrity nowadays.
