Ed01 I remember a while back you did a feature on 'Worlds best centre backs' or something like that. I know that apparently we weren't initially in for another CB, but isn't there at least one quality CB out there who would be within our reach, or who is of interest that could be bought for the same or less money than Virgil van Dyke ( who from memory didn't make that list anyway )? Aside from the big mess I'm wondering if £70 million couldn't be better spent.
