So one slightly lighter note today I found out that after 15 years of being on the season ticket waiting list I've now reached the dizzy heights of position 2,454!

Nearly there mate, last time I checked I'm 5798 after a mere 14 years on the list 😢.

They sent out a letter in 2011 to shorten the list to the top 25,000 and then closed the list to new applicants. Moved a bit last year cos of the new stand so yeah if we do another one I may be in luck.

Fingers crossed ey.

Out of the 8,000 or so additional seats in the new stand, only 2,000 were allocated to new season tickets.

I was on the list for 9/ 10 years, then missed the renewal in as I was overseas with the army and didn't get the letter. When returning I rang to try and get myself on the list and the club where having none of it, I thought that was pretty rubbish considering the circumstances. Reckon I would have got in when the new main stand was opened.

yeah I remember being charged £5.00 for the privilege to stay on the list (Bargain), looking on the bright side if I was number 25000 I'm doing well 😁.
