Such a shame looked very dangerous and actually had that yard of pace back too. If there is any justice it's just a precautionary move it didn't look overly serious. To the poster above we would be fools to let him go unless we get a really generous offer.

No luck doesn't cover it. I really hope this is just a small tweak or strain and he can take part in the rest of pre-season, but his running stride didn't look quite right from the second he came on.

Quality goal though.

I think we'd be fools to pay him so much to stay on the injury table. At what point will we say enough is enough?

We took a chance on sturridge knowing he was injury prone. Ever since his City days he's been the same unfortunately for him he will b like that for the rest of his career, such a bloody talent as well.
