So in the USA at this time of year, to promote the MLS, the winning coach from the previous year forms a team of MLS 'All Stars', who get to play a big team from Europe (Real Madrid this year) . What fun!

My question- what novelty match would you like to see?

Personally I'd like a mini tournament where all UK players play for the city they were born closest to. Then we'd get to see which city produced the best footy players.

Alternatively a Prem All Stars v Spain All Stars. Real life fantasy footy!

Manchester Utd vs. 11 hungry Siberian tigers.

More seriously, all star teams from different, comparable leagues playing each other once in a while has the capacity to be interesting. And equal capacity to be a damp squib as two teams with no cohesion try to win the game with individual talent.

I'd like to see a League of Ireland XI vs. the Ireland national team too. Just for my own curiousity.

Interesting stoneage. Kind of like aussie league's state of origin, like that.

If there's a all stars type of game, I'd like to see it voted by fans including picking the manager!

Interesting concept and idea. However as a keen follower of the NBA the all star games themselves are almost always a let down. I would fear these types of games would be like pre season games with big names, much like we will see tommorow. It would be kind fun to see an all star type match in the prem though.
