Just want to wish lucas all the best he was a great player and great man to have around the club and when he hangs up his boots I hope he's offered some type of position in the club.

Im gutted to be honest. Hopefully doesn't prove to be a massive loss. I really thought he might give it one more year seeing as this could just be a special one for us.

Really sad to see Lucas go, but he's not an old man, and obviously loves to play football, so it's the right thing to do to let him go and test his mettle playing regularly somewhere else.

One of my favourite players of the last 10 years, i'll never forget the fact that i've never wanted a player to curl a beautiful 25 yarder into the top corner more than every time Lucas got the ball in that position. knew it wouldn't happen, but always wanted him to add to his rather modest goal tally!
