Ricardo Vaz Te had a trial at Melwood on 7th of July 2017.
Any idea of it led to anything?

I always thought he looked a good player when he was young, very raw but thought he would carve a good career. He was a mainstay in the Portugal u21 team but stagnated at Bolton and stayed too long not playing regular football.
As for a trial, I very much doubt it, he's 30 and was at Charlton not long ago!
