ED001 what's your thoughts on tony Barrets new role with the club? Positive news?

{Ed001's Note - why would it be positive news? The guy is a journalist, what transferable skills does he have? This is another of those 'give him the job and see if he can do it' appointments that the club have been making in recent years. I hope he does really well in the role, but it seems an odd appointment to me.}

Think it's a great appointment myself.

{Ed001's Note - why? Has he any experience or skills to fulfil the role?}

Ed, I think its a positive appointment because he is foremost a LFC fan with an already good relationship with the fans which was apparent in the widely acceptance by fans on social media. His job is to be a gap between the club and fans not making critical decisions for the club. And he has more experience in social media handling which I think stand him in good stead for the job. That is my own take on the situation.

{Ed001's Note - I would rather they just got someone who was good, than someone who was a fan favourite because he is a fan himself. Being able to tell fans what they want to hear, which is what he did previously, is not what the role requires.}

You should have got the job ed001. 👍.

{Ed001's Note - not so sure about that, it involves social media and hate those sites. Instafaketwattbookergram, they should all be abolished and everyone would be a lot happier in life.}
