Couple Keita rumours flying around today.

No idea how trust worth these Journos are but both the Guardian's Ed Aarons and German journalist Raphael Honigstein have indicated that the 22-year-old is looking to leave the Red Bull Arena.

With RB Leipzig going from 'hes not for sale' To '£70m would do it' Are things starting to be change or is this just all made up rubbish?

Ed001 explained we are not looking to sign him any longer and pushing for the Ox as an alternative.

I also add that the rumour is he is refusing to sign a new contract which was discussed at the end of last season. I read what Ed01 has said, just throwing this out there, situations change beyond liverpools decision.

Also if Ox is our alternative to a very good first team player, then that's a little worrying. Always thought Ox would be a big squad player for us not to replace a what was 'primary target'

Which is an absolute joke in fairness,

Good to see us opt for option C again.

Let's suppose the rumours are true and I were in charge of RBL. What would I do to keep a prized player who was looking to move away? I would put a very high but not stupid price on him, whilst privately telling him that he was valued and important to the team. I haven't burned any bridges with the player. Either I get the cash to re-invest or I get a player who will continue to perform because he wants to be seen as worth the high price by potential bidders. If the team moves forward in terms of competitiveness and trophy winning prospects and he changes his mind that's fine, otherwise in the last year of his contract I try and sell him on.

If we want to let RBL pull our pants down for a player who is not even a proven entity in the whole of Europe for 70m (which is not pocket change by any stretch) then the club can have at it. I don't want Keita cos he is not worth 70m neither do I want the Ox as he is a poor player, end of. There are better options out there at CM and the scouts need to go do their jobs instead of outsourcing it to the Saints.

If he's what we want we should pay the money for Keita and look For a cheaper alternative to VVD. The Ox is hopeless.

All the people saying they don't want him for the price, if he has a similar season next season to the one he has just had. You would all be complaining that we didn't try when we had the chance. Another season like that and he will end up at the biggest clubs in Europe and we will be feeling sorry for our selves again.

And if we buy him and he has a stinker Alex?
