Not one single person said Suarez is not a goal scorer. That's just crap.
His stats pre Liverpool for goals is amazing. Ajax, 81 goals in 110 games.
It really winds me up when people straight up lie to try and back a point they want to make.
Rant over.

A really interesting parallel to draw as they are players of a similar mold imo. I think he could definitely break 20 goals this year, he just needs to improve on his finishing as I'm sure he'll be presented with plenty of chances 😁.

{Ed025's Note - suarez and firmino similar??...yeah fornax, in the same way that aiden mcgeady and ronaldo are..

I actually agree with this. Suarez was infuriating for a year and a half he seemed to need 10 chances to score a goal. When Studge arrived he really kicked on and became a lethal striker. Firmino definitely has the ability to do the same.

I think Firmino is a cracking player, his work rate and running for the team is exemplary but he's no more a striker than I am a ballet dancer. He's far better as a strikers foil, kindly a Suarez style free role and I will eat my underwear if he scores 20+ goals.

Lallanas banana, Suarez scored in his first game from the bench vs. Stoke and pretty much didn't stop creating magic until he left. The only thing infuriating was his tendency to get banned!

Brezteke I agree he was an unbelievable player but in 2011-2012 he scored 11 goals with 3 assists in 31 games. 2012-2013 he scored 23 goals with 5 assists in 33 games. In 2013-2014 he scored 31 goals with 12 assists in 33 games. Huge improvement in the space of 3 years. All I'm saying is there's no reason why Firmino can't do the same.
