Eds, is there any clarification on the Mbappe bid? I know we apparently bid around 67mil earlier in the year but I couldn't figure out if that was genuine or FSGs apparent low ball tactic. Now I'm seeing rumours of a 100mil euro bid, are we seriously interested/ willing to pay? And if so, is there any chance or is his 'heart' set on Madrid? Appreciate any information regarding this rumour.

it was Euros not Pounds on the rumour, I think this transfer window is about getting the players Klopp wants. So yeah, I do think we could, if Klopp absolutely wanted him. But my question was can any of the Eds clarify this? It's irrelevant if I can see Liverpool paying the money or not.

the rumour that has circulated today. I didn't think we would sign him but wow what a player he's going to be!
