From recent windows:Ballotelli for one; Klavan to some extent and Benteke simply because I couldn't see how the team with the lowest crosses can feed a striker who thrives on them.

IIRC, Firmino was a major transfer that came sotta out of nowhere. It wasn't a position we were looking to strengthen (I don't think he played striker back then) and suddenly one night it was reported that we had a big money deal accepted and two days he was with a shirt.
