Isn't Roma's director Ramon Monchi, the person that achieved great things with Sevilla with very little?
I think he is also the same person that Liverpool tried to mess around during the Alberto Moreno saga.
I think Liverpool would be wise not to try to screw him again at Roma. If so they can forget about Salah or any future negotiations.

Do you honestly wholeheartedly believe that if for example we now offered 40 million for mendy, they would reject on the fact we messed another team around. There is no principles in football. If we offered 40M for Mendy, Monaco would let him go and we shake hands, all parties happy.

What I'm really annoyed about is Liverpool would put a bid of like 20M + add-ons to Monaco on the table. Would you accept that if you were a director at the Stade Louis II?

Don't get me wrong, I don't want Liverpool to just stupidly accept every price quoted by the selling clubs, I just want them to have some tact at the negotiating table that's all. They can always say 'thats too much, we're walking away. Thanks for your time. ' if they can't pay it.
