Can I just say to people who are saying this window is a disgrace, pathetic, we've messed it all up etc, the window is not open, we will sign players who we need, I for one am not gutted about VVD, no better than sakho imo, just relax man! Plenty of other players we can sign, loosing out on a £60m defender who let's be honest reminds me of a Southampton lovren? Isn't a big deal in my eyes! Crack on.

He is better than what we have including Sakho and will improve the squad greatly.

Everyone use to hold there breath when Sakho had the ball at his feet or tried to control the ball.

vvd is pure class and I think would have been one of the cb we have had for a very long time. I hope that be can still get the deal over the line and to say he is not better than lovren and Sakho is joke.

I'm with you Taylor and Grino. Not only is he much better than Klavan and Lovren, I think the others would play better with him along side him. WIth injuries etc, this would happen.

As I mentioned in a previous post, the red Mancs paid £30m for Ferdinand back in 2002, 15 years ago.
