Hope we get priced out of a move for Martins and turn to Costa. Salah would have been ideal but clearly Roma have priced him out so its better to target a proven winner than another Markovic. Bayern i belive willing to sell for 30 million, so FSg should stump up as its clearly within our budget.

Not convinced by martins at all, seems all tricks and turns with no end product. Poor mans lallana if you will. Not saying he could not be coach and i trust klopp on this if he is indeed a target.

Brandt was 1st choice surely, so that would mean going for our 4th choice with Costa! What assurance of playing time did he want, Ed? Surely if Coutinho drops deep, he'd play most important games!

Probably not, but if that was what he wanted, then maybe we did right going elsewhere.
