Solanke and Ojo have been brilliant for the U20's very impressive lads.

He also was bloody brilliant, I thought they all played well 025 buddy, brilliant game to watch and Solanke ended up with 2, that Lookman looks a handful!

{Ed025's Note - it would be nice to see some of these young guys given a chance in their prem teams richie, plus it would save a lot of dosh mate..

I was actually impressed with Kenny, the man has endless amounts of energy, was charging from right back on a regular basis which takes some doing.

Of course, the two Liverpool boys had to provide the quality needed in the end :P

Have to admit though, the players that have really impressed me from the U20's would have to be: Lookman, Ojo, Tomori and Solanke. Solanke and Lookman, in particular, look head and shoulders better than anyone in the competition, including teammates.

Kieran Dowell and Maitland-Niles were awful though, I don't think either one managed to place one pass to a teammate. Cook, considering how many people have lauded the kid, was also underwhelming I felt. The lad is supposed to be captain but I don't see what is so special about him.

Also, how Dowell was able to push Ojo out of the side, I will never know.

Fingers crossed that England finally win a World Cup, it may not be the senior one, but it will just have to do :)

{Ed025's Note - dowell has been excellent before this game mango, the kid has a big future mate..

JonJoe Kenny and Kieran Dowell for Ireland! :p.

{Ed001's Note - Kenny was excellent but Dowell is a stroller for me. Didn't rate him at all in any of the previous games.}

Why isn't Trent in the squad ed?

{Ed001's Note - was he not pulled out of it by Liverpool when he got the call up? Or is he in the U21s and I am thinking of a different player? Not sure mate, I would have to find out, but if I post this up someone will probably answer in the meantime anyway.}
