Look, Klopp obviously has his own ideas but it it is quite concerning what we will be forking out for VVD per week and probably still be stuck with Milner at LB and Clyne ar RB for next season.

I am just hoping that if the club is hell bent on spending obscene amounts of money in this window that they go the extra mile to at least add two new proper fullbacks. It will be extremely disappointing if we don't.

I get your concern, Max, but why don't we wait for a few weeks?

I reckon we will buy a LB and use Milner at RB whilst developing TAA.

Add a LB (Mendy, please god, or Bertrand) and a CM (Keita? ) and I would be very happy.

VVD, Salah, Mendy all into first team and most likely a CM too. 4 out of 11 starting places significantly upgraded would be an excellent window, imho.

Sorry Max I disagree. We cannot nor should we not try to solve all our issues in one window. You can only buy what quality is available. VVD although I do agree wasn't a priority but he has apparently should a great eagerness to play for us, that should be applauded no matter his price tag. A couple more signings hopefully only. Salah probably one of them and I'm hoping for Naby Keita, I know LB is a priority but it looks like we let Mendy get away so I would grab Keita before someone else does, the guy is quality. You never know with outgoings we may find we have funds for a LB but do we want to bleed four new starters? Personally with the number of games we will have I think there will be plenty of chances to do it without having to do it all together.

The problem we are facing is coz we did not reinforce last summer especially LB. should have brought CB and LB last summer!

Bertrand for me would be fantastic, but for some reason lfc has a blind spot when it come to him.

While I'm not really excited about VVD, I can see the allure.
The primary thing should be bringing in a left back though. That's the area where I would spend an obscene amount on a good player.
