Van dijk is a thirty million pound defender. 60 million is close to what we sold suarez for in sterling!
. Why are few outraged over the price? He's costing that because of demand. Other wealthy clubs interested and a lack of top quality central defenders in world football. Southampton are robbing us but they're doing great business.
200k as well for a central defender? Clubs top earner? Deeply uncomfortable with it all.
I see many fans are delighted that we're forking out the cash on social media.
I'll be delighted the day ticket prices are vastly reduced.

60 million when Suarez went is today's 80-90 million. Van Dijk is a very good player as he will take us up a level. So often we have spent 10 million on several players who are mediocre and/ or are 'ones for the future. Would you rather we just went back to that method or would you rather we buy genuinely good players who will improve the team or players that will just make up the numbers?

Transfer fees are meaningless when judging players.

The club needs to show likes of Coutinho that we're serious about competing otherwise he will get itchy feet.
