After all this talk of a left winger, What are peoples thoughts on Albert reina (spelling)? the spanish left winger benitez bought.

i felt a class wide man was the only thing missing from that team could of/ should won the league with a quality winger.

but i really liked hm, not a worldy but pretty direct and did the simple thing pretty well.

Riera. He was okay. Not particularly fast, but enough to get the ball upfield and strike in decent crosses. Something happened and he ran afoul of Benitez and the next thing you know he was frozen out of the team and then shipped out.

He fell out with Rafa and called the club a sinking ship under him. He was sold to turkey.

Riera unbelievable debut v Man Utd then never really hit those heights again! I think the away kit in those days was pretty much the same as next seasons.

Didn't hit spearing or a youngster anyway in a training game for a tackle made on him? After that he was shipped out.
