Watching the Sydney game. I appreciate the marketing value of Gerrard playing, even carra. But when macca comes on I wonder is it a tad disrespectful to the current a league champions? Hang on, is that king Kenny I see strapping on the boots?

It was a friendly mate. Get over it. I am sure the A-league players will have been delighted to be on the same pitch as Gerrard, Carra and McManaman, even if was not during their playing days.

Game's finished and think I may have been a bit negative re macca (who I played against at school boys age) . Was a nice spectacle and macca showed some nice touches. Have to say, Gerrard showed he could still cut it in many premier league sides, no worries.
