Was he not tired from Chelsea twice? He's been hit and miss since Porto. Usually title followed by the sack. Considering the teams he's managed and the money he's spent I don't think his record is that great tbh.

Aside from Porto, he's had millions and millions to spend at every single team he has managed. It'd be difficult to fail. Propping him up as some king of management ideal is a great disservice to the profession.

Having read a bit more about him over time I like Mourinho but i think he has the attention span of a child and gets bored by the idea of just winning, he has to tinker and mess around with stuff because he gets bored and then gets himself fired. I wouldn't read anything into getting fired from Chelsea, they've had more managers than most relegated sides and they are actually winning stuff.

Never wanted a team to lose a game of football more but sadly they'll win, not because there any good but because ajax are a so so team and young as well so not only are they not good enough to win but I think the occasion will get to them, never wanted to be wrong so much in my life though. Irish Rover - small holes? The man last season was so comprehensively figured out (or managed to inspire such hatred in his players) that a championship winning team were in danger of relegation when they fired him. He was shafted from Real with players at the edge of revolution. He has now managed spend hundreds of millions on a United team to take them a step back from last season. He might have been a winner once. But right now, and for some time, its looking more and more like he's lost his touch.
