Eds1 I saw you say a couple of weeks ago that signing the young left back from Fulham might be difficult due to our past indiscretions. Recently you've still been saying (i think) that you'd like us to get him, I was just wondering if things have become any easier with our dealings with Fulham since you haven't been dashing our hopes of getting him! I guess the new incoming c. e. o should make one of his 1st priorities, restoring relationships with other clubs.

He was all set to sign for us. Contract was on the table ready, pen in his hand.

Then somebody let it slip that Ed001 wanted us to sign him and the Men in Black swooped in and ushered Sessegnon out the building before the contract was sealed in a vault 15 miles underneath Ed002's Chinese multi-story mansion.

Same happened with Medel a few years back.

I just have this vision of Ian Ayre constantly tapping on Dempseys shoulder and running away and one time Dempsey poked Ayre back, I think that's what ED2 meant right?
