Hopefully Michael Beale will soon start to keep his mouth shut.

Beale was giving his opinion, a right all human beings are entitled to. So what if he thinks Sakho deserves another shot at LFC? The guy's a quality left footed CB who would improve our back line no doubt and good left footed CBs are a rare breed nowadays. If we do sign a left footed CB in the summer to partner Matip, then the chances that he would be better than Sakho are extremely slim.
I have no idea what actually happened between Klopp and Sakho, but if there is any chance that both can sort out whatever issues they have between them, then the biggest winner in said situation would be LFC.

Why? What'd he say?

You talking about his interview with Sky Sports re Sakho?

I think he's got a point though, I look at the CBs we have at our disposal and I think Sakho is better than every one of them.

If Sakho did show humility upon stepping down to the U23s and could "not have been a better professional" then I really hope the situation is not a lost cause, although I suspect it is.

He has a point I agree with him infact but stop talking about Liverpool you're not employed here anymore. All he's done is put unnessasary pressure on the club and klopp and the sakho situation which the club wants to be over.

{Ed001's Note - was he asked about it? Or did he mention it out of the blue? Before digging at the guy, you might want to check that simple point.}

Beale has a right to his opinion even tho, I disagree. Sahko has been here for 3 years where we conceded 150 goals in the PL. That means he's part of the problem. Also, his atrocities and undisciplined behavior have been well documented since his days at PSG and at LFC. But suddenly now, he's the messiah and the seconf coming of Paulo Maldini even tho he has contributed to our defence not being good enough while him being here.

I am a true Sahko fan BUT his conduct has been disgraceful and will not be tolerated. The guy takes responsibility for nothing at all and till this day, has not apologized for repeatedly flouting the manager's authority. That's not even it. What's worse? It is that there are fans who are giving him a pass and don't care how much he disrespects the manager and flouts his orders, all cos "he's our best CB"? HE IS NOT.

If Beale wants to tolerate insubordination in his team, that's his problem BUT Klopp doesn't have to REGARDLESS of how many goals we concede. The manager decides who gets to play and if a player is being a disgrace and disrespectful to the manager, then OFF he goes.

I've never really commented on the Sakho situation before as I always felt Klopp did the right thing but now I kind of agree with Beale. Yes Sakho was acting like an idiot and then a spoilt child BUT since then Sakho has done nothing but act like a professional. He took his punishment and dropped down to the reserves like a man without complaint, he has gone out on loan and just did his best. Whether he's better than what we have is irrelevant, you cannot let any player do what they like, it just destroys a dressing room. The biggest point for me is how did he respond to his punishment? As far as I can see, and we don't get told everything, he's been the model professional, even expressed a desire to play for us again. I could be wrong but that says to me that he's a man that's learned his lesson. It would send out a positive message to others too, it would show that if you just shut up, knuckle down and work hard there's always a way back. My opinion anyway, obviously we as the public don't get told all the facts but it's my opinion based on what I've heard or seen.

We couldn't defend with anyone. That has been the case from 4-5 years now. Sakho is just another proposition people want to throw at. ( If he had him ) . If he had him he would have made some other mistakes. And how would that actually matter? We play an open game with poor full backs and no real stopper. It's like, You are up against a Japanese bullet train on counter attacks. No one could stop it. Our manager priorities elsewhere.

Did not the front 4 of Dortmund bullied and outclassed Sakho? He too buckles up on pace and his heading is like water melon bouncing of from a truck.

spot on Harry . Do people not remember how suspect he was playing for us . I respect Beale and he is entitled to voice his opinion if asked . I also don't recall Sakho being to apologetic in the article .

Is SaKho better than what we've got wearing the red shirt? Yes Way better

Will Klopp consider this point at the end of the season? No chance.

In my opinion give the lad a chance,
What's there to lose?
