Liverpool have been fined £100,000 and handed a two-year ban on signing any Academy player who has been with another Premier League club or any English Football league Club in the previous 18 months. Foreign deals are not affected.

How is that in anyway a good thing for English football?

The question we should be asking is how is what we did in anyway good for these youngsters? The rules exist for a reason, we should get our house in order and make sure these constant, negative stories relating to our club become a thing of the past.

Why does the club persist on tapping up players? It's so unprofessional and has led to nothing. Question: is the problem this pervasive at Liverpool? Seems like this latest stunt proves that its a problem up and down at the club.

Lads consider this a blessing in disguise. The way we have handled our transfer dealings in the last few years, we couldn't argue against a blanket transfer embargo to be honest. Hopefully this will be the kick up the backside the club needed to start behaving more professionally.

Not signing from bpl club or British clubs could only be good for Liverpool. Now we can focus on the real footballers.

Frankly we asked for it for being stupid. Hopefully we learn a lesson from this as this is not only embarrassing but it will cost us and set us back massively.

Worth it for me.

Problem is we were caught and did we even sign the lad. Looks like someone dropped the ball. Ah well we only have about 100 youngsters on our books who might be able to get into the firdt team.
