Hey eds what is your take on Chirivella, do you expect him to get a serious run next year? I personally like the player a lot think he is mature as his positional sense is spot on in my opion.,

{Ed001's Note - I like him a lot, but he is a couple of years away.}

He is a very good player but at 19 years old he will (as is customary in England) be written off by all the fans unless he is first choice next season!

As Ed says though, he is a year or two away from Premier league football. He may be Technically gifted, have excellent awareness/ concentration and be a very good passer (He plays with his head up which makes him a top midfielder) but he is though still very fragile. He needs to bulk up to cope with the hustle and bustle of the brutal English game.

Just happy that Klopp gave the academy a decent chance this season. We have at least two players coming through now, TAA and Woodburn.

If we can get one academy player a season to break into the first team each season then that will be a massive success.

Another good 90 min today, in a strong away win vs twente. If he keeps playing on this level and stay away from injurys i can see him as a part of the first team next year.

Ed001 do you see the club having the patience to stick with him and him in turn having the will, and patience to wait that coupla years. maybe out on loan to get to being a first team regular?

{Ed001's Note - he has been patient so far and he is still just a kid, the club certainly are ready to wait a bit longer.}

Does the likes of Cheverella have an agent looking after his affairs?

If so the agent could unsettle the player in his development by filling the lads head about better deals and first team football somewhere else.
