Depressing to hear we've started contract talks with Lovren, thought we were leaving the years of mediocrity with klopp at the helm. Why are we offering him a contract as he is simply not good enough, lost for words. A truly awful decision.

This kind of attitude is just childish. Get behind our players. We all know Lovren has his ups and downs but it doesn't give you the right to dig into someone who has been a good professional for us. No lack of commitment from him.

Not a bad backup option but should no way be starting 11 imo, the defence is our biggest problem and he is at the heart of it.

Look guys, I'm all for the idea of protecting his value to keep the sale price up, but to be giving him a pay rise. Insanity, he's one the main reasons why we have been awful defensively for the last few years. No agenda here just don't rate him and can't understand why he's being rewarded for years of utter appalling defending.

I took plenty of sticks for claiming this very early in the season. Loves is a terrible player like Simon Mignolet. Klopp will learn the hard way.
So we could all put off a new defender coming up in the summer. After shipping a record 50 goals we are moving into the right direction offering Lovren a new contract.
